Dr. Seth Towner is a native of Durham, CA.

It was through his experiences with playing youth/high school sports that he was introduced to Chiropractic.  The local Chiropractor in Durham, Dr. Tom Kaminsky was also the team’s O-line coach, athletic trainer, and team physician.  Seth not only saw Dr. Kaminsky for pre-season physicals, but also experienced his first adjustment after an ankle sprain. It was this unique treatment for the condition, that Seth was typically treating only with R.I.C.E. and bracing, that sparked his interest in Chiropractic.

After undergraduate studies in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine at Butte College and Chico State, Seth was at a career decision crossroads between Physical Therapy and Chiropractic.  As well as interning as a P.T. aide, he went back to Dr. Kaminsky and asked him multiple questions about everything regarding his career path.

In 2005, Seth and his wife Sarabeth moved to San Jose, CA so that he could start is graduate program at Palmer College of Chiropractic West.  It was there his education both in class and also working with athletes at sporting events all around the bay area, made him realize that his career path was on its way.  He was becoming a Doctor that was learning the tools of helping athletes in a unique way.  It was also in San Jose that Seth met Dakota and Nani.  Seth and Dakota were classmates through their four years at Palmer.

After graduating Palmer in 2009, Seth, with his wife and son, moved to Queen Creek, AZ to begin his career.  He practiced with AZ Chiropractic in Gilbert, AZ.  While in AZ, Seth gained experiencing in many different areas of patient care.  He worked in three different Chiropractic offices through his 5 years, seeing how multiple techniques can help patients.  He was a team physician and athletic trainer for Desert Hills High School football for two years. He also taught the Career Prep course at PIMA Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ for one year.

Upon a visit in 2013 back up to NorCal, including a stay in Redding and Seth’s first visit to R.S.T., he realized that his home was always in Northern California.  In 2015 Dr. Towner, his wife, and two children moved to Redding, CA.  He joined Dakota and Nani at RST in March.  On Sundays, he is down in Durham working on patients from a yoga studio.  Now that he has returned to NorCal, he is enjoying family camping and fishing trips when he is not working with patients.
