Bowenwork is a gentle therapy that promotes profound relaxation and healing by activating the parasympathetic nervous system and resetting muscle tension throughout the body.

This therapy combines sequences of finger pressure moves across muscles, tendons, and nerve groupings. Between each sequence, there is a waiting period of a few minutes which allows the brain and body time to respond to the movements.

Within the body, all the muscles, tendons, and organs are connected and work together to maintain health and wellness. If one area is injured or tense, it can have a negative impact on other areas of the body.  Bowenwork seeks to address the body first as a whole and then by focusing on individual issues as needed.

A few of the issues Bowenwork can address:
Overall Pain or Tension, Stress Reduction, Flexibility/Mobility impairments, Frozen Shoulder, Shoulder/Elbow/Wrist injuries, Knee/Ankle/Hamstring injuries, Plantar Fasciitis, Whip-lash, Headaches, Sciatica, TMJ Syndrome, Digestive issues/Irritable Bowel Syndrome/Gastric Reflux, Bunions/Hammertoes.
